10 Christmas Trees from Instagram We Love!

With Christmas just around the corner, now is the perfect time to create your very own winter wonderland. We’ve scoured Instagram for a few of our favourite Christmas trees, all of which boast an abundance of festive cheer! Some are modern, some are traditional and some are truly over-the-top!

And hopefully, all will be guaranteed to give you some inspiration if you’re unsure how to decorate your tree this year…

1. The bare tree

There’s something special about a tree without decor, such as those featured on House to Home Design. If you’re looking for relaxed living and affordable decor, a bare tree could be the perfect option for your home this year. It’s also cost-effective and takes a really low amount of effort.

If you’ve decided to go without tree decor, a Fraser Fir is a great option. Renowned for its sweet fragrance, the yellow-green branches of the Fraser Fir boast a conical shape complete with branches that tilt slightly upwards. Other options include the Concolor Fir, often referred to as the white fir.

It’s celebrated for its flat, needle-like leaves that have pointed tips. In its younger stage, this tree boasts pretty blue-green leaves. As it matures, the leaves transform into a duller green shade.

2. All that glitters…

When the weather is dull outside, inject sparkle into your interiors with a little holiday cheer. Trees that glitter is all the rage for 2020 because as well as brightening up your home, they’re guaranteed to brighten up your mood.

Glitter doesn’t have to be in the shape of tinsel alone, as floral embellishments and spray painted berries are two of the top trends taking center stage on Insta feeds this season.

Take inspiration from Mary Beth Wilhelm and her daily blog, featuring all things DIY, lifestyle, and interiors, with a little humour thrown in for good measure.

3. Golden hour

Swap sunsets at the seaside for your very own glow inside your home this Christmas. The gold embellished trees featured on Antea Amoroso’s Instagram page are peppered with an array of metallic tones, shiny baubles, and golden jewels. If the tree is supposed to be the centerpiece of the room, this style will certainly grab attention!

4. A lace affair

Why not trade tinsel for lace this year? Take inspiration from @wrapped_in_lace, as her lifestyle and decor account is the perfect page to visit if you enjoy a feminine style with a country edge.

5. Contemporary is key

Swap traditional colours for metallic, silver, white and jeweled tones with a contemporary tree, perfectly suited to those who live in homes and apartments with modern decor and a simplistic style. If this takes your fancy, check out the trees featured on @alexandereneedesign

6. Over-the-top

If you wish to really push the boat out this year, look to the Robson’s at Number 10 for hot hued inspo, and trees that do all the talking. These instant conversation starters give off that ultimate ‘wow’ factor! Trees on this page certainly pack a punch and boast an array of decorations, all oversized and all over-the-top.

7. A twist on traditional

If you’re looking for festive home decor inspiration, look no further than the Instagram account @inspirationbyvicky. The Christmas trees featured on her page are bold, bright, and boast classic red and white hues – think candy canes, the Nutcracker, stockings lining the mantelpiece, and oversized presents under the tree.

If you want to make Christmas a bigger affair than usual this year, this is the perfect page to pounce on.

8. Everything is going to be all white

We need Christmas more than ever this year, as it’s something to cheer everyone up after a somewhat dismal 2020. And what better way to bring a little joy into our lives than to spend an evening decorating the tree, whilst listening to Christmas carols and drinking mulled wine?

A white Christmas tree, such as those gracing the pages of the @mommunity_ Instagram account is a great option for all tastes and styles – as the minimalistic design will complement almost every interior.

9. Pretty in pink

The Instagram account moroccanspinkandgold.dream is the go-to page for those who like to do things a little differently. Think Christmas trees that are pink as opposed to green, perfect for a girly home or your very own princess-themed room.

10. Small trees, big impact

Whether you’re stuck for space or fancy a change, mini trees dotted around the home are a great decor addition, especially as table centerpieces.

Take these cutesy trees featured on the @cozyfarmhouse, as they add a Nordic vibe to the home, especially when teamed with a plaid tablecloth and monochrome accents. It’s amazing how many Christmas trees you could have in your home if you really want them…
