How to Make Fresh Flowers Last Longer

Who doesn’t love receiving fresh flowers? They make us feel happy, loved and appreciated.

They turn your home into a little vibrant oasis and fill the room with a wonderful fragrance. Sadly, it doesn’t last forever.

Zinnia for example, a widely used flower in fresh arrangements, is estimated to last for 24 days with regular water changes! Orchids is also a very popular choice in bouquets, they can last up to 3 weeks if you take proper care and regular water changes. One of the cheaper bunches are carnations, very versatile flowers that can last an impressive two to three weeks.

Whatever fresh flowers are in your vase, there are few simple things you can do to extend their life.
